This is a wonderful vintage skirt which looks to be from the 1970s it was probably handmade to a very high standard as it contains no labels the narrow waistband is black velvet with a side zip and hook and eye fastening the skirt is gently pleated from the waist which adds fullness to the shape there is a deep band of matching velvet trimming the hem the body of the skirt is a pretty cream fabric adorned with autumnal shades of flowers this fabric could be cottonlinen mix the skirt
