This beautiful antique is circa 1890 and has pleated net detail with smocked chiffon and decorative lace this bodice would have been accompanied by a gathered or pleated skirt and bustle and would have been worn as an everyday gown or more likely someones sunday best due the intricate work that has been put into this piece the bodice itself has a decorative smocked crepe placket which begins around the neckline then flows down to the bottom of the bodice this crepe also lays over the sh
