The use shims are designed to allow you to use your 272mm outer diameter seatpost and securely fit it to frames that use larger diameter seat posts and clamps simply select the shim size that matches your frames inner seatpost diameter and then you slot your seatpost into the shim and place the shim and post into your frame making sure you clamp the shim for a secure fitting
