The board which the nest is mounted on should be placed directly under the roof so that the top is protected swallows like to brood together so it is advisable to put more than one nest up the swallows nest is made of clay size l x w x h approx 200 x 90 x 80 mm it is mounted on wooden board size l x w x h 240 x 145 x 10 mm the ideal place to mount it is under a ledge the wooden board is screwed directly onto the wall please note mounting material is not included in the package
