For their 1977 single stretcher case baby the damned chose to use an illustration by american charles allen gilbert painted in 1892 showing a skull made up of a woman in front of a mirror this was a very limited release with only 5000 copies being produced which were given away at gigs to fan club members and as prizes for an nme competition this is a 100 official damned product
