Robert burns also known as rabbie burns and bard of ayrshire was a scottish poet and regarded as the national poet of scotland a pioneer of romanic poetry in scotland some of his finest works are of course my love is like a red red rose and ault lang syne each year on 25th january there is a celebration of his life and traditionally tartan tights are worn we love these tights the blue tartan and the plaid print makes them truly special and were sure robert burns would love them too
