This tour starts with a strenuous 16 mile guided hike uphill from the base camp in seward to exit glacier once you reach the ice put on your provided safety gear go over ice hiking safety and then explore the glacial landscape after the glacier exploration youll return back down the same trail please note the hike to the glacier access point is physically challenging this hike should be only attempted by hikers in good physical condition
