This is a truly wonderful find a long black dress from robert piguet labeled as les couturiers associes paris the house of piguet closed in 1951 and the designer died in 1953 he has been described as the most parisian of fashion designers and his fashion house was the training ground for designers such as dior and givenchy this dress has proved difficult to date but must be from the 1940s50s it has the refined sophistication of this era and is tailored whilst not being restrictive
