The initial equipment
Each car tyre is marked with a label indicating its individual characteristics. The tyre width is at the beginning of the sequence. It is listed in steps of 10 mm. Here it is therefore given as 185 mm.
The tread cut with its symmetrical structure influences, among other things, how wetness is dissipated from the car tyre. In addition to the special symmetry features, this design also features directionality. This is shown on the tyre by means of an arrow marking that indicates the alignment. The following is therefore important for precise fitting: the car tyres may only be changed against each other on the same side of the vehicle.
Environmentally conscious driving
The Kumho WinterCraft WP51 is designed for the winter season. It is only suitable for the summer months with restrictions. On slippery roads, the tread design results in greater grip and therefore better handling.
