Various key figures

The Latitude Sport 3 from Michelin is designed for seasonal conditions outside of winter. Thanks to the seasonal adaptation, the car tyres wear significantly less than tyres for use in cold seasons

The tyre cross-section - also known as the height-to-width ratio - is the second number in the labelling. For this summer tyre, the ratio is 45%. It is conducive to sporty driving and safety. However, due to the low tyre side, such a tyre can also contribute less to suspension and comfort function.

Based on the tyre width, the rim width must be adjusted, as the car tyre is mounted on the rim. Although the standardisation allows most tyres to be mounted on rims of different widths, a more advantageous result is achieved with the width specified for the tyre. With a tyre width of 275 mm and 19" rim diameter, a rim width of 10 inches would be possible.

Sporty tyre

This car tyre is approved for a maximum speed of up to 300 km/h , which you can see thanks to the Y symbol on the tyre sidewall. The registration certificate states a guideline value that cannot be undercut by the values on the tyre sidewall.

The wide car tyres, which are also designed for speed, provide good traction and also make up for the odd pothole. They primarily enable faster driving behaviour on routes designed for this purpose.
