Product Description

The Pirelli Cinturato P7 passenger car tyres are designed for sporty drivers. Thanks to the high speed index, they allow you to drive at high speed.

Pirelli Cinturato P7 245/45 R17 99Y

  • Good handling thanks to the asymmetric tread pattern
  • Integrated rim protection
  • Speed index: Y (up to 300 km/h)

Important measured variables

As a seasonal tyre from Pirelli, the Cinturato P7 meets all the requirements for summer driving. Unlike winter tyres, the wear is much less

The tyre cross-section is also known as the height-to-width ratio. In the label, it is the number after the tyre width. For this seasonal tyre, the ratio is 45%. It suits a sporty driving style and stability. However, due to the deep tyre side, such a seasonal tyre can also contribute less to suspension and comfort.

In terms of tyre width, the rim width must be adjusted, as the car tyre is mounted on the rim. A suitable width would be perfect, but the standard allows car tyres to have varying rim widths. With a tyre width of 245 mm and a 17" rim diameter, a rim width of 8.5 inches would be conceivable.

Sporty tyre

This tyre is designed for a maximum speed of 300 km/h , which you can see from the Y symbol on the side of the tyre. The vehicle registration document contains a reference value that cannot be reduced by the car tyre values.

The rim guard protects the tyre from damage, such as when driving onto a gutter. A very robust tyre lip with a steel wire core protrudes functionally over the outer side of the tyre, preventing abrasion and also serving as tyre protection.

The thick tyres, which are specially designed for speed, ensure good grip and can also cope with potholes. They allow a fast riding style primarily on roads designed for this purpose.
