Product Description
Good fans and fresh air keep a computer quiet and undamaged. However, there are sometimes considerable differences between the available models in terms of design, size and speed. The BlackSilent Fan XS1 50mm case fan offered here is part of the Noiseblocker portfolio. In addition to other models, it complements the Noiseblocker BlackSilent series.
This type of case fan is particularly suitable for components that heat up quickly and for radiators. The speed is 3000 rpm, which results in a noise level of no more than 16.3 dB. Above 30 decibels, users should generally expect perceptible operating noise. This is not the case with the fan under consideration here. One of the most important features is the airflow that the computer fan can produce. The BlackSilent Fan XS1 50mm has a volume flow of 11.5 m³/h or an air flow rate of 6.77 CFM. Office users and generalists can be satisfied with a maximum of 50 CFM or 80 m³/h.
The bearing reveals which method is used to drive the propeller. This example uses an NB-NanoSLI. To couple the fan and board, manufacturer Noiseblocker has installed a 3-pin connector.
