Pure Linen Striped Long Sleeve Shirt

This was a loose fit which was ok but the sleeves were very long and the large grey pocket looked a bit odd. Just didn't suit me

Beautiful item but go a size down - very generously sized Perfect over slacks. Covers bottom. Very smart and dressy. I wear it open over slacks and a vest top. I button one of the cuff buttons and turn the cuff up for a smarter feel. I'm a size 20/22 but bought a size 18

Bought myself this stylish shirt, lovely and roomy and cool. Bought size down for admiring niece, then size up for friend who loved it too. Considering buying whole stock range to satisfy future demand!

This is a great item for style, quality and value for money. Compliments to M&S for producing it. It does come up big, but going down one size is fine and makes you feel good. It looks stylish when wearing it and on the hanger. I couldn't be happier with my purchase.

I was encouraged by previous reviewers but doesn't look as good on me. Colour a bit drab. Loose fit is up to date and as expected but bought the smaller of my 2 sizes. However quality pretty good and with 20% off quite a bargain as it could be useful just not special. Will keep.

I was hesitant about buying this on line as couldn't find in store to feel the quality. The grey pocket was a "put off", but I ordered with 20% discount when it came back in stock. I am delighted with the fit and quality and true to size. The linen material is excellent quality and the design is statement and will be a nice addition to my summer wardrobe to wear on its own, for layering or as a jacket. M&S could have made it a striped pocket instead of plain grey as seems unbalanced - but then quality control would have had difficulty matching the stripes!- or leave the pocket off?

First of all I would call the colour grey and not black and I also ordered a size smaller than usual. I love the blouse and will wear with off white trousers. However, I am unable to find anything anywhere in a similar shade of grey to wear underneath as I would like to wear it as an over blouse. I have already mentioned to staff members in store that if the designers had produced a basic little sleeveless, or short sleeved, top they would have had 2 sales instead of 1.

The shirt is very nice but at 5'5 this was rather large and didn't suit me at all. I think this woud suit a taller person who could carry it off better.l

The shirt looks great and is a loose fit, but the back pleat makes it larger than expected and sticks out unless ironed flat. The sleeves are rather long too.

I love this shirt, it comes up quite large but I like my shirts loose and comfy. Very smart with jeans or more formal trousers and I love the bold stripes. Thanks M & S .

Great quality linen. Very versatile everyday shirt. I love the fact it is on the baggy side yet still stylish. The best thing about it is the long length which I appreciate as I am tall. It would be great if other colours were available. Yes I am very pleased with this shirt- thank you M and S you have come up trumps with this garment.

Very stylish, mid weight linen shirt, in tasteful colours. Really nice shape and flares out a little when on which makes it very feminine. Come on M&S! keep making the up to date styles that I am loving at the moment!
