The Peak ZEN50 Atlas ZEN - Zener Diode Analyser tests zener diodes, avalanche diodes, VDRs, TVSs, LED strings and much more, up to a maximum voltage of 50V.
- Measures breakdown voltage (0 to 50V) with a resolution as fine as 20mV
- Measures slope resistance (up to 1kΩ at 15mA with a 1Ω resolution)
- Supports most Zener diodes, avalanche diodes and reference diodes from 0 to 50V
- Great for testing VDRs, TVSs and other types of voltage protection devices
- Selectable test currents: 2, 5, 10 and 15mA

It is often difficult to know the conduction characteristics of zeners for various reasons.
Distributors selling product with the same part numbering from different sources and manufacturers tolerance are the most obvious. Then surface mount numbering is often uncertain.
Within a few seconds the important characteristics a clearly displayed.
