With a high altitude valve it's suitable for use in the mountains, and the adjustable flame can reach up to 1300°c.

The single handed flip lid is easy to use, and filling with standard lighter gas is fuss free.

not the real thing

It's a cheap copy of a turboflame lighter. It worked well for a bit but now the flame is tiny on maximum and it won't even light on lower flame settings.

Shame go outdoors don't stock better.

Not a genuine Turboflame, small flame, very poor

Wanted to replace my Turboflame that packed in after 4 years. But to my surprise it had a very small flame and stopped working after 2 weeks (i.e., its not a genuine Turboflame). Total waste of money.

Case is good

It took a while to get the Turbo-jet to light. It eventually did and now seems pretty reliable.
Case is very useful and waterproof/hard wearing

Not good!

I bought as a Christmas present.
After filling with gas it worked fiercely 4- 5 times and then refused to hold a flame.
The casing gets hot and it's cheaply made.

Turbo?

Unfortunately I was unable to try it until I fuelled it up. When I used it on Dartmoor it did blow out. I've adjusted the length of flame and think this has resolved this issue. Will be trying it again this weekend on a windy and chilly Dartmoor. But for under a tenner not a bad buy!

Stick to Turboflame

Bought to replace an old Turboflame I lost.

Upon lighting the flame is too easily blown out. Once it gets going it's adequate. But I've never had a Turboflame get blown out even in high winds
