Monopoly are known for reinventing the classic, renowned board game under new and popular themes. Games of Thrones, Pokemon, Frozen and World of Warcraft, to name a few, are available in Monopoly form, along with The Walking Dead, as listed above. Based on the comic series and TV series of the same name, this board game has been on the market since 2013. In it, players must fight for the best properties and resources that will help them stay alive for as long as possible in a post-apocalyptic world. The game will appeal mostly to fans of the series or anyone who already knows the backround story.

Walking Dead Monopoly

The object of this particular version is to collect resources such as walls and guard towers as well as properties like hospitals, prison blocks and farm houses, in order to survive. The Walking Dead Monopoly currency comes in the form of food and ammunition and there is an optional speed play game, so this particular version of Monopoly need not take quite as long as the original.

Chance cards come in the form of “scavenge” cards while the community chest cards take the form of “supply chest” cards. The contents of Walking Dead Monopoly include the board, 28 title deed cards for the properties, 2 dice, scavenger and supply chest cards, 6 game tokens, 32 houses and 12 guard towers.
